The hotel’s muted colour palette, rich wood finishings and decorative wallpaper by Stacey Rozich may all hark back to the its historical roots, but custom-made wood furniture by Tim Lewis Studio and industrial lighting pieces from Roll & Hill and Workstead serve as crisp, contemporary counterpoints. Vintage rugs underfoot and a plethora of plants and cacti also bring a warm, lived-in feel. A second restaurant on the ground floor is still to come.
